Traditional climbing
Its easy to forget what a fantastic place the Lake District is when you live on its doorstep and climb there most weekends.
For traditional climbers, the Lakes is an adventure playground home to many of the most sought after climbing challenges in the UK. It doesn’t matter what your climbing ability, Classic Rock, Hard Rock or Extreme Rock routes are abundant.
I have been climbing in the Lakes since I was a young boy, progressing from Severe to E9 over the course of a 25 year climbing career.
